People have been seeing alot of these strange Bar lately, named QR . Here’s an example.

QR-Bar Codes, Created in the Past but a Feature for the Future !

Scan the above with your phone’s and it will take you to my LinkedIn Profile Page. Amazing, right? Believe it or not, this has been around for a long time. It was created by subsidary Denso-Wave in 1994 and we’re just now seeing this in America as a common thing. It’s crazy how far behind the times we are!

As for Web Development, think about it. We can make this small image, display it on our web sites, and anyone with a Smartphone will be taken directly to that link. You can link your Facebook page, your web site, even a Phone Application can be linked.

Now taking this one step further, what if you printed this QR-Code on your business card, or added to your newspaper add? Anyone with a Smart Phone will be able to find your site just by scanning this code.

I will be updating this page in a couple of days to add a form so you can make your own QR code just by typing in the url you want and saving the image. So please check back with this site to get your own QR Codes!

I am a CPU Commando, I work hard to destroy the evil Bill Gates plan's for Global Computer Control and follow Linus Torvalds teachings of Open Source OS's and Free Software ( Free as in Speech not Beer ) When I'm not teaching the world to use Linux then I am trying to teach people proper Web Programming and maybe a little Hacking Aside. If you're reading this on Internet Explorer v?? then your CPU will explode in 10 seconds, your wife will leave you, your dogs will die and your pickup truck will run off a Cliff all on your way to pickup your Mama from the Pen.
